This is not a Hollywood Hills party house. Out of respect to my neighbors, I don't allow gatherings of any kind. This is a quiet residential neighborhood and my space is best suited for two people, such as a couple on a romantic getaway or those seeking a calm, private space in the middle of the city, a perfect home base for their adventures in Los Angeles. —NO PHOTO SHOOTS: YES, I have one of the best views in Los Angeles and my guests all enjoy it. However, this is a place of rest and relaxation — not a venue for professional, “lifestyle” or vlogging photo or video shoots. Additional people and equipment is disruptive to the peace and quiet of our neighborhood. HSR24-002592 *** HIGH-RISK BRUSH FIRE ZONE*** -- "NO SMOKING IN THE CANYON" is the law in Laurel Canyon. NO SMOKING OR VAPING on the property -- indoors, outside, or in your vehicle -- is strictly enforced because of the HIGH RISK OF FIRES IN OUR CANYON AREAS. Our lives are at stake. Guests who do not respect this rule will be asked to leave. Thank you for helping to keep California fire-safe! POT/CBD: It’s legal in California and I support that! I request my guests consume pot edibles when in the apartment — rather than smoking marijuana or using CBS oils while on property — as I can’t get the strong scent out before the next guests’ arrival. You are, of course, welcome to do whatever you want when you’re out and about in LA. Check out Med Men in West Hollywood, the pot super store, for an amazing selection. -SOFA SLEEPER: The sofa sleeper is provided as a FREE convenience to my guests, but is not as comfortable as the king-sized bed in the bedroom. The living room has a single-bed sized fold-out sofa sleeper -- which best accommodates a small person or child. The sofa sleeper takes up most of the room when folded out, and guests in bedroom may have to crawl over sofa bed to reach the bathroom or kitchen. --CHILD CHEMICAL & SAFETY HAZARD: Parents with small children, please be aware there is a glass table with sharp edges, as well as knives, utensils and cleaning supplies in unlocked lower cabinets in bathroom and kitchen. Parents are responsible for their childrens' safety. --COVID-19 NOTES: Your comfort and safety during stays with me at STUDIO 1080 are important. We follow recommended safety and cleaning guidelines, including cleaning surfaces and frequently touched things with disinfectant. Spray hand sanitizer and wipes are provided at doors and inside. All bedding is washed in hot water on "sanitize" setting with detergent, including coverlet, duvet, sleep pillow & throw pillow covers. --CANCELLATIONS: We want you to have a fantastic time here and will go out of our way to provide a safe, comfortable place to stay and generous advice on things to do, traffic-avoidance suggestions, and how to make the most of your stay in LA. Please double check your dates as we do not offer refunds, date changes or credits of any kind for last-minute cancellations or changes in your travel plans. If you spontaneously change your mind, get dumped before your romantic weekend getaway, oversleep and miss your flight, or if you can't tolerate the homeless population or notoriously heavy traffic in Los Angeles, that is all sadly out of our control. We sure hope none of those things will mess up your dream trip, but please plan your travel accordingly and, if in doubt, cancel your stay more than 24 hours out.
